Meet the audiologist
Casey Rutledge Roof, AuD.
Dr. Roof is an audiologist licensed in Kentucky to provide hearing and balance services. Dr. Roof resides in Bullitt County, KY and is married with three children and a puppy dog. She is an avid reader and loves historical fiction, preferably while at the lake or on the beach with family.
Dr. Roof has a heart for service and advocacy and is a Past President for the Kentucky Academy of Audiology. During her tenure in leadership, common-sense legislation was passed for single-licensure for audiologists as well as the interstate compact for audiologists and speech pathologists. She was awarded the first-ever Angela Morris Award for Contributions for the Field of Audiology in July 2019. She has also served the State of Kentucky through the Kentucky Board for Speech Pathology and Audiology. Dr. Roof continues to be an Academy Scholar under the American Academy of Audiology. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a fellow member for the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctor’s Audiology.
Dr. Roof has a wide range of audiologic experience over 15 years and has been grateful for opportunities with traditional diagnostic and specialized testing with both pediatrics and adults, hearing aid selection, fitting and programming, cochlear implant evaluations and programming, vestibular evaluations and programming, electrophysiology, ENT collaboration, worker compensation evaluations, as well as educational audiology to support children in Kentucky. Prior to graduating from Auburn University in 2010, Dr. Roof oversaw the Fast-Forward intervention program for CAPD offered through Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM). Her doctoral capstone project regarding CAPD was later published as a case study in 2013.
